CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH AKAROA.

To the Editor of the,Akaroa Mail.

S[R,—l should very much like to know, as ft subscriber towards the Akaroa Congregational Church, who.the.Trustees are who were appointed on 1 Thursday, the 11th inst? And also, what are the powers vested in them ?

My reason for asking is with n view of finding out whether we are subscribing to a private pr, a public institution, and whether the property lately bought is hold under the same terms as other church properties are. Perhaps Mr Barnett, who, I believe is one of the trustees, can inform me. ; I am &c, -; INDIVIDUAL. July 19,1878.
