Port Chalmers, July 18
The Minister for Public Works met a large ?ud influential deputation here relative to wharf extension and dredging approaches to the present wharf. He promised that the dredging should be seen to, and stated that the sum for the extension of the wharf would be placed on the Estimates, the plans being in course of preparation.
