GRAND MUSICAL & DRAMATIC ENTERTAINMENT will be held in the School-room, French Farm, on Tuesday, July 16 (weather permitting), in aid of providing funds for a Harmonium for use at Church Services. Tickets (price one shilling) can be obtained at the Mail Office, and all the stores. Messrs. Latter, H. Bridge, A. C. Knight, Montague Smith, T. S. Baker, and others, have kindly promised to assist. There will be a full moon, and the services of the Steam Launch will probably be secured to carry passengers at a low rate from Akaroa and the principal bays. FOOTBALL CHALLENGE. THE French Farm Football Club will Play any Fifteen on the Peninsula at French Farm, on JULY 16, 1878. Play to commence at 3 p.m. Tea provided for those staying for Entertainment.
