/On Thursday last Mr C. W. Bridge held . a sale of stock at the Head of the Bay saleyards. There was a fair attendance. 17 sheep, about 60 head of cattle, and 8 horses, were yarded. The sheep realised 7s each, 14 heifers were sold at £5 ss. Cows fetched £5 2s Gd, £6 ss, £6 12s 6d, £7 15s, and £8 7s 6d. One draught colt was disposed of at £9 10s.
