A circular has been sent to all Government departments to the effect that it has come under the notice of the Government that subordinate officers of the Government have been in the habit of sending out Government advertisements to papers, Government have therefore notified that in future all Government advertisements must be signed by a Minister of the inent. The Hinemoa left at 4.15 this afternoon, with the Governor, Lord Hervey Phipps, Captain Maling and family, Mr Sheehan and Secretary. Lyttelton, May 30. Cleared—Malacca, for London, with cargo of wool, wheat, and meats.
