J ALEXANDER INNES X 5 McGREGOR, hereby give notice, that in terms of clause 92 of " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876." an ELECTION will be held at the offices of the Akaroa Borough Council, on SATURDAY, the" Ist day of June next, for the purpose of electing TWO persons to be Auditors of the said Borough* The NOMINATION of Candidates, who must be qualified under the 93rd clause of the above recited Act, must be made in the manner provided in the 11th clause of " The Regulation of Loca Elections Act, 1876," and will take place at the said Borough Council Offices, at noon, on SATURDAY, the 25th day of May, current, and a POLL, if necessary, will be taken at the said offices, between ihe hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., on SATURDAY, the Ist day of June next.
