X ALEXANDER INNES, JL, McGREGOR, Returning Officer for the Borough of Akaroa, hereby give notice, that in conformity with the provisions of " The Municipal Corporations Aci, 1876," and "The Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876," an ELECTION vvill be held at the offices of the Akaroa Borough Council, on SATURDAY, the 25th day of May, current, for the purpose of electing a Councillor in the room of Mr 11. Wagstaff, resigned, thereby causing an extraordinary vacancy.
