Akaroa.—Mr C. W. Bridge reports : — At the sale of the balance of the Taka Matua Ebtate. German Bay, the property of W.G. Inman, Esq., on Wednesday last, the following lots were knocked down to the respective buyers ; —Lot 2, comprising 52 acres, 1 rood, to Mr J. F. Roberts, at £10 10s per acre ; lot 30, 75 acres 1 rood, to Mr Nalder, at £8; lot 31, 96 acres 2 roods, to Mr Sunckell, at £10 ; lot 5, 2 acres 2 roods 4 perches, to Mr B. Shadbolt, at £41; lot 6, 1 acre 1 rood, to Mr P. Shadbolt, at £65 ; lots 7, 1 acre 1 rood, at £68 ; 8, 1 acre 28 perches, at £40 ; 9. 10, and 11, 2 acres 37 perches, at £37 10s, to Mr H. Piper. Lots 12 to 16, from £44 to £54 10s per acre, to Mr. J. F. Roberts; lots 17. 13 acres 3 roods 2 perches, at £23 ; 18, 3 acres 1 rood 28 perches, at £24, to Mr F. Lelievre ; lot 19, 3 acres 1 rood 33 perches, at £15, to Mr Barry ; lot 20. 3 acres 1 rood 19 perches, at £16, 10s, to Mr Hammond. The prices realised are reckoned as good, and the bidding throughout both for the land and furniture, &c, was spirited. The balatice of the land and household effects .still remaining unsold

will be offered by Public Auction at the — --.-.Town Hall, Akaroa, to-morrow, when, doubtless, thero will be equally keen composition.
