FROM THE LYTTELTON TIMES. Christchurch, Friday Evening. GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
Flour. —A considerable business has been done at £11 to £12. Grass- Seed. —We have no alteration to report beyond a less firm tone. Firstclass samples we quote at 6s 3d ; average lots, 4s 9dtoss6d. Potatoes. —The demand is not at all brisk. The price ranges from 40s to 42s 6d. Dairy Produce.—Butter is very dull, and sales hard to make. to 8d is the quoted value. Cheese io also dull at 5d to sjd. In hams and bacon the bnsiness has been quiet.
