Sheep. — Being a large over-supply there was a drop in prices in most cases equal to Is per head for fat sheep, and the market fluctuated considerable through the day's sales ; mutton may be quoted at from to lid per lb.

Some lines of extra good bullocks were passed in, vendors not being disposed to accept the reductiou. Potatoes.—There is a very limited demand for potatoes, altough the price is 455. If sellers pressed sales a concession in price would have to be made. Butter.—The market is very ciull with little or no business doing. Purchases could easily be made at 8d per lb for potted butter, in good condition.
