STOCK AND STATIONS.

At Addington, on Wednesday last, 7171 sheep and lambs, 500 head of cattle, and 254 pigs were yarded for the week. Sheep.—A very large proportion of the sheep yarded were first-class butchers' sheep, heavy weights, and in prime condition. Considering the number offered, the}' sold very fairly, averaging, for butchers' sheep, l£d per lb. Store Sheep are in demand, particularly well-grown lambs and young merinos, for which good prices are realised. Beef was dull of sale, and there is no improvements on last week's prices. PiGS.—The bulk were inferior, but they met with ready sale, according to descriptions.
