Auckland, March 4

Arrived — Italian ironclad Christophero Colombo, H.M.S. Nymphe, and H.M. Schooner Conflict. A fire broke out at Onehunga last night, and destroyed nine shops and dwelling houses. Langley's house and ztock is insured in the New Zealand and Standard Offices for £1500 ; Grigland's store is insured in the Standard for £250, a considerable portion of whose stock has been saved ; Leary's building was .insured for £159, goods not insured ; Burns not insured ; James Morris was insured for £400 in the South British, stock and furniture not insured; other losses not covered by insurances. Wellington, March 4. The half-yearly Oddfellows' report shows that there . are fourteen district Lodges belonging to the Manchester Unity, having 1108 members, the total investments being £2350. Timaru, March 4. The Criminal Session of the District Court was held to-day in the new Courthouse before Judge Ward. A case against Isabella Dart, for larceny of goods, at Sutter and Co.'s, was arranged to come off in the Supreme Court, which will sit here in June. To-morrow the case of perjury against Flora M'Kinnon will be heard.
