The Earl of Carnarvon, Pro. Grand Master of the English Freemasons, presided on the 19th Dec. at a meeting of the Grand Lodge, when the action of the Grand Orient of France in expungingall references to the Deity from their records was condemned, and a committee was appointed to inquire into the subject.
