Telephonic Echoes. j •' Have you heard the Telephone ? " Is now the cry both high and low ; To laugh, and sing, and sigh, and moan Along the wire is all the go. " Close the shutters, Willies dead ; " " Dreaming eyes of long ago ; " " Come put me in my little bed," Mollie answers —" Not for Joe." " Little rosebud," " Still I love thee ; " '• Far away, yet ever near ;" " Little sweetheart, come and kiss me," Billens sings out loud and clear. Bridge sings — " Call me yet your dar- • Hng;" Meech sings — " Buy. my flowers so sweet;" While Stratton at the noise is snarling, Robertshaw yells — " How's your poor feet." Garwood gives an old friend greeting, s ' Daly plays a cornet song ; So ends the Telephonic meeting, And echo answers—" Well, So-long." TELEPHONE.
