Sheep.—The bulk j-arded were not more than second quality. For the few lines of top quality there was good competition, and a rise equal to ls per head over last woek was established. Best quality mutton may be quoted at ljrd per lb. Beef.—There was a good supply of excellent quality yarded, for which there was but little competition, the sales being •characterised by extreme dullness on the part of the trade. Quotations for beef must remain the same as last week.

Store Cattle are in fair demand with inquiries for forward delivery.
