AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Friday, Feb. 8. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M.)
CATTLE trespass. Thomas Adams, charged with tethering a horse in Jollie street, was fined 10s and costs. Charles Gutberlet, who failed to put in an appearance, was also charged with allowing one horse to be at large in Jollie street, and was lined 5s and costs. David Leconi-pte, sen., was fined 10s and costs for allowing eight calves to wander at large in Barry's Bay, on the 27th Jan. last. Robert M'Cloy, charged with allowing ten head of cattle to wander on the Pigeon Bay road on the night of Jan. 24, was fined 10s and costs. The Court then adjourned.
