A despatch from Layarcl announces that the Porte has instructed the Turkish commanders to accept the peace conditions proposed by Russia. No reply has yet been received. ■ Feb.l. Mr Foster moved, in the House of Commons, the rejection of the motion for a six millions war vote. Mr Cross stated that the objection on the part of the British Government to secure a lasting peace was the-Russian advance, which, •if persevered in, England's demands: must be held as final. Debate adjourned. Feb. 6. Most of the Signatory Powers have accepted the proposal of a European Conference* at Vienua. The. Russian, claims are the cession of Roumania and Besrarnvia, which Roumania refuses. The question of the war indemnity* with Turkey is still unarrangad. A new Turkish Ministry is formed.
