FROM TBE LYTTELTON TIMES. Christchurch, Friday Evening. GKAIN AND PRODUCE. Flour.—There is very little doing, and no change has taken place in price, viz., £14 for best Dairy Produce. —Butter is in moderate supply and fetches 7fd to 8tl; cheese, ssd to 6d ; hams and bacon are quiet at 8d in cloth. The land sales on Thursday amounted to 4118 acres, as follows :—Ashley, 255 ; Selwyn, 88; Akaroa, 174; Ashbnrton, 1633 ; Geraldine, 307 ; Waimate, 1561; realising £8236.
