STOCK AND STATIONS.
On Wednesday last, at Addington, 42G7 slieep and lambs, 440 head of cuttle of all descriptions, and 40 pigs, were yarded for the week's supply. Of the slieep there was a scarcity ol" prime quality, the bulk ■ being good useful quality for immediate • use, the exceptions being two or three lines of prime sheep, for which the price was about the same a< !a<t week. With dull sales no improvement can bo. looked for till boiling operations are more generally commenced. Buef—An oversupply, i'or trade purposes, and a consequent decline in prices. Good beef we quote at from 25s to 27s 6d. Stobe Cattlk —Li better demand, and more inquiries for lots to deliver. Stoke ■ Sheep—Several !aig3 lines of good stores _ I;avs-*changed hand:-! privately for stocking up at satisfactory prices.
