HHHE Pigeon Bay Road Board hereby -L give public notice, that in accord-, ance with clause 93, sub-sections 1 to 12 of the " Public Works Act, 1877," it is their intention to stop that part of the road to Kay's Gully, M'lntosh, Decanter, and Little Akaloa Bays, beginning at the Beach, and running through rural sections No. 172, 2493, 3076", 6580, 6709, and terminating at the upper boundary line of the last mentioned section, as shewn on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Provincial District of Canterbury, and to substitute in lieu thereof a road through rural section 172, as also shewn on the map of the Chief Surveyor, and on plans prepared by the Board, which may be seen at the Road Board Office, or at Mr Robinson's store. THEREBY give notice, that the VALUATION LIST for 1878 will be OPEN FOR INSPECTION at Forbes' store, Tai Tapu, from January 15th to to the 31st instant, and from the latter date to February 15th, at Reynolds' store, Little River. All objections thereto must be left at the Road Board office, addressed to the Assessment Court, and a copy of such objection must be left at the office, addressed to the Chairman of the Board, not less than seven clear days before the sitting of the said court, due notice of which will be given.
