STOCK AND STATIONS.
At the AddingtonSaleyards, on Wednesday, 6327 sheep and 273 head of cattle we're'yarded. The large number of fat sheep brought forward again met with a dull-sale, and several prime lots had to be turned but unsold. Best cross-bieds realised from 9s ■3d to 9s 9d ; good do, from 8s 6d to 9s; second quality, from 6s to 7s 3d. We quote a shade under lfd per Ib as an average for fat mutton. Fat *■ lambs— Gbqd pens brought from 6s to 6s 6d; an exfra prime lot realised 8s 6d; several pens of from fair to'medium lots had to bepassed in; on acccount of the butchers being supplied. The cattle yarded consisted of some fair ■quality lots of beef, which sold up to last week's rates, making an average of 27s 6d :per? lOOlbs. Mixed stores, ■two-year-old, brought £5 5s ;■ yearlings, from £3 10s to £3 15s 6d. Several lots o£ aged cows ■vyere passed in not sold.
