STOCK AND STATIONS. At the Adtfington Saleyards on Wednesday, 6811 sheep, and 251 head ot cattle" were submitted. The supply of fat sheep was greatly in excess of the demand, the biddings were dull throughout, and prices ranged fully one shilling per head below last week's prices. Best lines of fat cross-breds (shorn) realised from 9s 6d to 10s 6d per head ; good do, from 8s 6d to 9s 3d ; second quality, from 6s 6d to /s. Good quality merinos made 6s 9d and 7s each ; some fair quality cross-breds in the wool came forward, but were passed mat 13s. Fat lambs, best pens, sold at from 7e to 8s ; second do, from 5s to 6s. pens of good quality beef were offered, for which description we quote«27s6d per lOOlbs as an average ; several lines not reaching that average were passed in. Stores—The supply of good stores was limited ; two-year-old steers and heifers (lhised) sold at from £5 7s 6d to £0 ss.
