IN connection with the above, Prizes will be awarded for the following exhibits :— Drawing from copy, painting in oils or "water colours from nature, illuminating ; cone work and leather ditto, for picture-frames or boxes ; pressed ferns, sea-weeds, and leaves ; * plain needlework, fancy ditto ; embroidery, tatting, crochet, antimacassar (tatted) ; woolwork (entirely done by exhibitor) ; ornamental writing, plain ditto, mapping, ornamental lettering, copying music ; knitting stockings, ditto socks, netting, darning ; wax, paper, feather -and wool flowers ; carving* in shell or wood ; models, nautical or mechnnical.; patchwork ; cutting-out and making shirt ; best home-made bread. The above list Is- open-to.aj.l competitors of both "sexes, and all ages. Special prizes will be given for Horticultural exhibits. Nominated Immigrants, on arrival in the colony, may join their friends immediately after inspection, and will not be required to go into Depot.
