At the saleyards on Wednesday 7515 sheep and 483 head of. cattle were yarded. iPlie, large number of sheep penned included a good proportion of shorn wethers, tho bulk of which sold at 10a 6d and 11b each, makings an average of a shade l£d per lb," while the same class in the wool sold as high as 19s for prime quality; good do, from-16s 6d to 18s ; second quality, 14s 6d. Cant<-rbury..Horse. Market.—On Saturday last 120 horses were catalogued, including ship horses, entires, draught ._ stock, and unbroken stock, of which we disposed of the largest proportion. The entire Iron Duke, lOOgs; draught stock, £50, £55 to £64 ; unbroken do. to £40 ; ordiKtaiy, £25, £30 to £37; light stpek, £16; and sound good, harness stocky to £33 per head; weeds unbroken, £8 £12 to £14; and a few superior, up to £18, £20 to £25 per head.
