A PUBLIC MEETING of RATEPAYERS, will be held in < the Road Board OffiVe, Akaroa, on • SATURDAY, the 20th instant, at 1 p.m., to hear any objections that may be offered as to why that part of the Old Duvauchelle's Bay Road, hereinafter described, may not be sold, in accordance with the " Public .Works' Act, 1876," sec. 93, sub-sees. 1 to 3, viz.:—-ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL OF LAND containing One Acre One RooH and Thirty-twO Perches (more or less), arid being portion of sections 752, 856, and 332, situated in Duvauchelle's Bay, Berard Riding, County of Akaroa, and bounded on the North by a line starting from the Harbour Beach, and bearing 275*31, 173 links ; and by a line bear- . ing 304-45, 266 links ; and by a line bearing 298-31, 210 links ; and by a line bearing 278*34, 178 links ; and by a line bearing 294-25, 416 links ; and i by a line bearing 336-43, 284 links. On the west by a line bearing 348*00, , 105 links ; and by the chain reserve on the harbour high-water margin to the starting point, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan lying at the said Road Board Office.
