DOORSTEPS V. PIGSTYES.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE AKABOA MAIL,
, Sib,—My action as Borough Councillor re " The removal of obstructions in our thoroughfares," appears to have raised an ill-feeling against me, with my old friend Beecher, who insinuates that the atmosphere around my premises is particularly pestilential. Living in the midst of it, probably my olfactory nerves have become callous and lost their sensitiveness. I shall be very giad if he or any other person with good nasal organs will point out anything that is offensive, that I' may at once have it removed. If he will undertake to do this, I'll—well, I'h shout.
11. WAGSTAFF.
