T ALEXANDER INNES X, McGREGOR, Returning Officer for the Borough of Akaroa, hereby give notice, that in conformity Avith the provisions of " The Municipal Corporation Act 1876," and "The Regulation of Local Elections Act 1876," the first Annual Election of Councillors under the above first recited Act, will be held at the offices of the Akaroa Borough Council, on THURSDAY, the 13th day of SEPTEMBER next, for the put-pose of Electing NINE Councillors in the place of George Scarbrough, Henry Wagstaff, William Penlington, William F.
