ODDFELLOWS HALL.
TO THE EDITOR OP THE AKAROA MAIL. Sir, —I was surprised at seoing a local in your paper of the 28lh instant stating that the Oddfellows were nigociatins with Dr. Watkins for the purchase of a site on which to build a hall. The subject of building a hall has been for some time before the Lodge, but a summoned lodge to consider the matter, by a large majority, carried a resolution abandoning the idea, and as we have not since been summoned to reconsider it, yon must be mis-inforinod. —Yours, &c, ODDFELLOW.
