Morey, to. offer for Sale at their office, on the 28 th instant the following Valuable Properties— THE GREHAN ROAD BRICK YARD containing four and a quarter acres of Land, in grass, well fenced This property is admirably adapted for carrying on the manufacture of bricks, Tiles, Drain-pipes, &c. The plant is complete, and consists of a large Brick Shed, Pug Mill, Barrows, Hand-cart, Chaff-cutter, &c. The clay is of first-class quality, and a never-failing spring of water exists in a convenient position for use. Mr. Morey has successfully carried on the above business, and offers satisfactory reasons for relinquishing the trade. Also, A compact Six-roomed House, situated on one-eighth of an acre of land, in Jollie-street, Akaroa, attached to which are a good Greenhouse and Stable Sale at 11 a.m. sharp. NOTICE OF STOPPAGE OF OLD DUVAUCHELLE'S BAY ROAD, "VTOTICE is hereby given, that in XN terms of " The Public Works Act, 1876," sec. 93, and sub sees. 1 to 3,> the above Board proposes to take ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL OF LAND containing One Acre One Rood and Thirty-two Perches (more or less), and being portion of sections 752, 856, and 832, situated in Duvauchelle's Bay, Berard Riding, County of Akaroa, and bounded on the North by a line starting from the Harbour Beach, and bearing 275-31, 173 links; and by a line bearing 804*45, 266 links ; and by a line bearing 298*31, 210 links ; and by a line bearing 278*34,178 finks ; and by a line bearing 294*28, 416 links ; and by a line bearing 336*43, 284 links. On the South-east by a line bearing 246*43, 100 links, and by the Akaroa and Christchurch Road. On the South and on the South-west by six lines, with bearings and distances as follows, namely : 336*43, 246 links ; 294*28, 364 links; 278*34 178 links ; 298*31, 232 links; 304-45, 246 links; 275*31, 117 links. On the West by a line bearing 348*00, 105 links ; and by the chain reserve on the harbour high-water margin to the starting point, as the same is more par- j ticularly delineated on the plan lying at the said Road Board Office.
