Island Billy. Beacli strewn with loose wool and wreckage for nearly eight miles. Produce remaining from fire in, export shed sold for £31. Wellington, June 21.' The s.s. Wellington lias narrowly escaped becoming a wreck on Manukau Bar last Sunday. Captain Lloyd had a very narrow escape from being carried overboard. Two boats were smashed and one carried away. The steamer went to sea and rode the gale out for three days.
