■ "TO "THB EDITOR OF THR AKAROA MAIL. Stb, —We perceive in an issue of the AkaboalSail a paragraph to the effect ihat Mr. John Grrigg has purchased Mr. Thacker's saw-mill .at Okain's. Aβ agents for Mr. Thacker in the sale of his Okain's Bay properties, we have to request you to contradict the rumour, for it can only be a rumour, as to Mr. Grigg's having purchased the mill portion of the property. There is not the least foundation for such a report, The property is not sold, and Mr. Grigg has not even offered for the property. The sale of Mr. Thackers mill and other freeholds will take place at our office, as advertised. Trusting you will correct this error.
