The Ohinemuri natives have been induced to raise the blockade of their river, and it is expected that a complete reconciliation will shortly be effected between them and the Aroha natives. The latter are beginning to feel want of articles only to be purchased from Europeans, and which they cannot procure in their isolation. Dunedin, April 25. A collision took place on the railway fine at Milton yesterday evening. One train was knocked off theKne, but no one hurt. Wellington, April 25. Measles and chicken pox are so bad at Foxton that the school has had to be temporally closed.
