Leaves the Lyttelton Watermens, Wharf on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 9.20 a.m., for Pigeon Bay, returning from Pigeon Bay at 1 p.m. FOR LITTLE AKALOA. The steamer leaves for this Bay on Tuesdays, at 9.20 a.m. Fares :—Saloon : single, 10s ; return, 1 . Horses can be hired at Mr. T. W. Barker's, Head of the Bay, Akaroa, for Little Akaloa, to meet the steamer. This new steamer can be hired for picnics or pleasure parties, on reasonable terms, and owing to her ample accommodation, excursionists could be taken on the regular days on which the*steamer runs, at reduced fares. The Policies are not forfeitable by non-payment of premium until the full surrender valve has been exhausted ; thus, a person having paid foj three years would not forfeit his policy for 3 years and 125 days after the default of payment ; and again, a person having paid for five years, his policy would remain in force for 5 years and 86 days, after said default of payment. It will thus be seen that no personneed apprehend being compelled to forfeit his policy by non-payment of premium owing to temporary embarassment. The premiums are kept in a serrate Trust account, and are invested in Government Debentures. _^2
