GUNNING & CO. AND O'GRADY.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE AKAROA MAIL. On reference to your reported doings of the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board, March 27,1 am reported to have said in reply to the Chairman's statement, " That it now appeared quite clear to me that they were one and the same party," and notwithstanding the statement of Gunning and Co. to the contrary in your last issue my opinion is not altered, and will not be altered until the real O'Grady is produced in propria persona. The ominous silence of Gunning and Co. in regard to the Chairman's statement, " That it was evident to him that Everall and Gunning and O'Grady and party were in accord in the the matter seems a tacit admission that they were so. Yours &c, IOHN DUXBURY.
