In cattle, the beef to hand was very prime ; Messrs Stanbury and • Geo. Young , stock in large lines from £3 10s to £4 2s 6d ; and fresh conditioned store cattle, £6 I.os to £7 12s 6d to £8 per head. Milch cows and springers are in great request, at from £10 to £15 for good description, we disposed of the bulk of our entries. In sheep we disposed of all our entries. Wool, sheepskins, hides, tallow, &c. 48 bales of wool, 170 hides, several thousand sheep and lambskins, and several bags of rough fat were catalogued for our sale yesterday at the wool stores. We would draw the especial attention of our constituents to the absolute necessity of having the skins taken off with greater care, as in many instances the loss to the vendor is considerable.
