The steamer leaves for this Bay on Fridays, at 9.20 a.m., calling at Little Akaloa and returning from Pigeon Bay on arrival of coach. Fares :—Saloon : single, 10s ; return, 15s. Horses can be hired at Mr. T. W. Barker's, Head of the Bay, Akaroa, for Little. Akaloa, to meet the steamer. This new steamer can be hired for picnics or pleasure parties, on reasonable terms, and owing to her ample accommodation, excursionists could be taken on the regular days on which the steamer runs, at reduced fares.
