AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Friday, 2nd February, 1877, (Before His Worship the Mayor, and H. H. Fenton, Esq., J.P.) VAGRANCY. Thomas Allan with charged with this offence, having been six times previously convicted before the Court. He was 6ent to Lyttelton Gaol for one month. inebriate. W. H. Price was charged with being drunk and disorderly. This being his first appearance, he was dismissed with a caution. cattle trespass. C. Haylock was fined 5s and costs for allowing cattle to str,ay. civil cases. Wm. Adams v. Moloney, for goods supplied, £11 13s 6d. Verdict for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs. J. E. Thacker v. S. Hanson.—Judgment summons for £15 17s 4£d. Adjourned for a month, owing to defendant's illness. J. E. Thacker v. J. Hanson.—Judgment summons, £22 5s 3d. Ordered to pay £2 per month ; in default, one month's imprisonment. In a case of R. Shuttleworth against S. Bryant, there was no appearance of the defendant.
