All objections thereto must be left at the Resident Magistrate's Court, addressed to the Assessment Court, on or before the 15th of February next, and a copy of such objection must be left at the office of the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board, not less than seven days before the next sitting of the said Court. "VTOTIOE is hereby given, that in JLN terms of sec. 20 of the Public Health Act, 1876, the Governor in Council having declared the following DISEASES INFECTIOUS within the meaning of the said Act, viz.:— Cholera Small-pox Scarlatina Diptheria • ' Enteric or Typhoid Fever Typhus Fever, and . Measles It is further required by the said Act, clause 28, that when a householder knows that a person within the house occupied by him, is taken sick of any of the above diseases, he shall immediately give notice thereof to the Local Board. If he refuses or neglects to give such notice, he shall forfeit a sum not exceeding ten pounds. It shall be the duty of the medical practitioner in attendance in such case to state to the householder as early as possible the infectious nature of such disease.
