■ The Annie Wilson, 110 days out, with 328 passengers arrived at Auckland on the 20th Sept. They had 3 births on board, and 9 deaths during the voyage, including' 4 adults and 5 children, among the causes were 1 fever and 3 from scarlatina. We have not yet received a list of passengers, but one family named Turner from Leeds, have arrived here and purpose settling. A house has been ordered for the Eev. Mr. Cottle the clergyman of the same ship, who with a large family intends taking up his residence here, and we hear of several others. ' We anticipate their arrival with pleasure. Many of the passengers by these ships were our intimate friends and neighbours in England. The Sea ftrfl was loading at the ship's side in Auckland for here and may be expected hourly. The Progress, Cap. Dodd arrived at Onehunga from the Kaipara on.Sept. 11. The Progress reached Port Albert on Sept. 27, having had very.rough weather outside, her cargo was much damaged with wet, the result of a leak. Discharged cargo, and left for. Paparoa on the 28th. We understand this is the last visit of the Progress, having been sold. Capt. Dodd's new vessel the Advance will be up directly with a fresh caryo. May we not consider this a mark of "Progress?"
