THE LATE AFFRAY.
We have great pleasure in publishing the following addresses from t&e'colo** nists to Commander David Robertson, R.N. On Tuesday last W. Spain. Esq. who bad been requested to read and present the addresses, accompanied by about 20- gentlemen, proceeded to the bouse of GajTain Benuet, R id. where the woundeu hero is staying, and they were at once introduced to him ; ou entering the room they found Captain Robertson reclining on his back, and •were most agreeably surprised to find him looking so well and in such good spirits. He appeared to feel very sen biddy the compliment paid to him, a slight flash was observed on hi<? countenance, but he read his replies with great calmness, He shook every member of the Deputation cordially by the hand, and all departed highly pleased with taeir reception.
