(From the Gazette.) Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, Ist October, 1844. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Pkrcival Behrey.Esq. to be Commissioner of the Couit of Requests in the Northern District or Division of New Zealand. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mi. Edward Hardy, to be Clerk to the Court of Requests in the Northern District or Division ot New Zealand. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint William Tye, to be Bailiff for the Court of Requests in the Northern Disttict or Diision of New Zealaud>
~ ijis Excellency the Governor has been: pleased to appoint the following Officers to be Collectors of Revenue, under the Ordinance of the Governor and Council of New Zealand, Session 4, No 2, Peter Dods Hogg, Esq., Chief Collector. Messrs, John M Carthy. Stephen Carkeek, James Webster. Thomas Pringle, to be Collectors in the Districts of Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth, and Russel, respectively. The Governor has appointed the following officers to act as Harbour Masters, and to carry out the provisions of 5 & 6 Victoria, cap, 47, ss. 57-58 At Auckland David Rough.
