The trade of the place Is Badly inconvenienced by the want of smalt change, silvtr is as scarce as Gold, and the Bauk has long ceased to part with any. W« trust His Excellency will yet let as have smaller debenture*. The taciturnity of (he Colonial Treasurer in Council being lately observed upon, the following remark wad made in reply "Tut, man, den't jou aee, the Han. Member it better employed than in making speechei, be is making money.'' He seems to us to sign a prodigious number of debenture*, we hope some of them are small ones and will soou come into circulation.
