GEORGE SMITH INTIMATES his having obtained a Transfer of the Licence to the above Extensive Inn, most eligibly SITUATED AT THE CORNER OF “VICTORIA AND QUEEN-STREETS,” in the immediate vicinity of the Supreme Court, the Felon and Debtors’ Gaols, the Police Office, the Registrar’s Office, and other places of public business and indispensable resort. In respectfully soliciting a continuance of the favors bestowed upon his predecessor, G. S. confidently offers the guarantee of his unwearied efforts to deserve therm The management will be under his immediate superintendence, so that, he trusts, the former patrons of the Rising Sun will experience no cause of regret that the arrangements are under the control of a new Boniface, As an earnest of his desire to afford superior accommodation to the visitors of the Rising Sun, G. S. may advert to the fact of his having, during the short period he has been in possession, fitted-up, and appropriately furnished A SNUG PARLOUR, with a private entrance from “ Victoria-street,” to which parties, having business to transact, may resort, free from annoyance or interruption ; and where even a Temperance Advocate may enjoy himself, (in moderation), without being subjected to reproach. It only remains to add, that no pains or expense will be spared, in providing the best. Liquors, Wines, Cordials, Ales, Porter, &c., that can be obtained in the Colonial Markets. Files of the Daily Times, and Weekly Despatch London Newspapers, are regularly received, direct by post. Perfect copies of all the publications of both Newspapers up to the end of March in the present year , are now ready for perusal and reference. A GOOD TABLE KEPT. CHARGES MODERATE.
