14. -A Ball will be hoisted at tne main yard arm ten minutes before each race, as signal to take positions, each race will be started by the firing of a Gun from Flag Ship. 15. —First gun to be fired from Flag Ship at half past nine a.m. to prepare for starting Ist race. 16. —A Bugle wfll sound the “ Recall” in the event of an unfair start. 17. —No boat or vessel to be allowed to enter for any match, unless the owner thereof be a subscriber to the Regatta Fund to the amount of at least 5 per cent, upon Ist prize in such match. No boat to be considered entered until the Entrance and subscription money be paid. The Committee respectfully request that all boats not on the south side, and the course generally, and abstain from hoist ng any flag at the. main, lest the public should be misled. Admission to the Flag Ship by tickets only (not transferable) price 2s. 6d., each ticket will admit a lady and gentleman. Tickets to be obtained from , the Secretary or on board. Refreshments provided at a moderate charge. A Band will be in attendance. The Committee sincerely hope their arrangements and programme will meet the approval of the public.
