Auckland Races, 1857 DAVID CROSBIE, Edinboro Castle, Wyndham Street, begs to announce that he has succeeded in purchasing the GRAND STAND, where he hopes to see his old friends on Friday and Saturday the first and second of January next. Wines and Spirits of every variety, and of the best quality, will be served, and Luncheon provided, in the same superior style as last year, at reasonable prices. The property being so well known, there is no occasion to make a land agent’s comments upon the same. There are two never failing wells of wafer on the property, as well as tanks and water casks, containing 7000 gallons of water adjoining the house, with back sheds, coverd in with glass.
