ACCIDENT NEAR KAURI POINT.
George Godding who, on Monday last, lost his life near Kauri Point in consequence of cutter Teazer, the property of Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane, having capsized, left a wife and young family to lament his loss. Of four children the eldest is under six years. Their unhappy mother lias long been in delicate state of health. This surely is a case for the benevolent. Deceased had only been some few weeks in Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane’s employ, or rather, perhaps we should say, in the employ of their boatman. Subscriptions for his family are about to be collected.
O" General Assembly is Gazetted to meet on the last day of next March.
