The North American brig Gertrude, arrived in our harbour on Monday, after a protracted passage of nearly six months. She has brought upwards of 192 passengers, who, considering the crowded state of so small a craft were all, with few exceptions, landed well. They have been thoughtfully provided with accommodation by the Provincial Government, until they are prepared to leave for their ultimate destination. The owner of the brig and his family arrived by same opportunity. The Spray, brigantine, was announced to sail for this port in November, with another batch of immigrants.
