Volunteer Notes.

(By « Volunteer.") The match for the officers' prizes is to be shot for this week and next week, and as these prizes are worth having, it is to be hoped that a good many volunteers will compete. To-day's is the last parade before the holidays, and after the holidays comes camp. We expect that our new uniforms will arrive before camp time. They should look very smart, and should brighten up camp Sunday. Our captain is on the look-out for a capable cook for camp, but they are hard to find. This year the Challenge Shield will be fired tor at Alexandia, and it behoves shooting men to practise in view of trying to win the shield for the corps on this occasion.
