Prior to bis departure Mr M'Gregor was presented with a travelling rug by the crew of the Enterprise dredge, and several of those present at the gathering spoke in high terms of Mr M'Gregor's' ability as a dredgemaster and as a "boss." On the evening of the 16th insfc, Mr Symons was entertained at a farewell social in the Springvale School house by the residents of Galloway Flat and Springvale. During the evening Mr R.
