CAKES FOR AFTERNOON TEA.
KISS CAKES... Ingredients: 2 eggs, their weight in butter, sugar, flour, and cornflour, 1 teaspoonful of baking powder, icing sugar, jam. Method: Boat butter and sugar to a oream, add eggs, then flour, cornflour and baking powder sifted. Put into small quantities on a well greased oven slide, and bake for 4 or 5 minutes in a hot oven. Turn on to a sieve, and when cool join together with jam and sprinkle with icing sugar.
